About Today's Teens

The Today’s Teens Conference is the longest running Youth Ministry training conference in Canada, started by John Wilkinson with a commitment to provide those ministering to youth with the latest research and trends, practical skill development and awareness of what it takes to relevantly reach and disciple the next generation.

It continues now on a National scale serving youth workers, camp staff, volunteers, youth pastors, parents and church leaders across Canada and beyond as we look to how we can move from what seems IMPOSSIBLE to reach our young people today - to seeing that through CHRIST all things are MADE POSSIBLE. This year specifically will look at how we can step into revitalizing our youth ministries, stepping into new ways of ministering and building fully committed followers of Jesus who are both resilient in their faith and a people of reconciliation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Since 1983, close to 40,000 youth & youth workers through the Today's Teens Conference have been inspired, resourced & equipped with the latest research, insights and practical tools to reach and disciple the next generation. For many, it has become an annual "family gathering" of youth ministry leaders, both paid and volunteer, who come from the local church ministry, serve as community youth workers, are involved in camp ministry or simply are parenting teens, to encourage and spur one another on as we seek to see more youth move closer into relationship with Jesus.

Over the years, Youth Unlimited has continued to adapt the Today's Teens Conference (under the leadership of Matt Wilkinson and, formerly, Paul Robertson) to most effectively respond to the changing realities and needs of youth and youth workers. We remain committed to providing a high quality, practical and affordable training to thousands of youth ministry leaders and youth from across 40+ denominations each year.

As we enter into our 39th year, still living out the realities of a world-wide pandemic, we are once again offering a one-day interactive, online conference for Youth Workers. We'll focus on the Impossible being made possible!

While this year's conference will once again focus on youth workers, we aim to bring back the concurrent youth track component for Today's Teens 2023!
